Whaitiri Print

Embrace the fierce and powerful energy of Whaitiri, the Māori goddess of thunder, with this striking print. Whaitiri embodies strength, raw power, and the unyielding spirit of nature, reminding us of the duality within power—both protective and formidable.

Her Story: Whaitiri was known for her might and was married to Kaitangata, a mortal whose name means "man-eater." Despite his fearsome name, Kaitangata was gentle, unlike Whaitiri, who craved a partner to match her own ferocity. Disappointed by his mild nature, Whaitiri returned to the heavens, but not before leaving her powerful legacy behind. She bore children who inherited her strength and influence, connecting the divine and mortal worlds. Whaitiri’s story teaches about embracing true power and the balance between strength and compassion.
