Rohe Print

Introduce the powerful presence of Rohe, the Māori goddess of the spirit world, into your home with this stunning print. Rohe embodies justice, wisdom, and the sacred realm of spirits, reminding us of the balance between life and death and the importance of fairness and equality.

Her Story: Rohe was the wife of Māui, the famed demigod known for his many legendary feats. However, Rohe grew tired of Māui's arrogance and desire for power. When he attempted to swap faces with her to enhance his own beauty, she left him, retreating to the realm of spirits. There, Rohe became the guardian of the underworld, ruling with fairness and maintaining balance between the mortal and spiritual realms. Her story highlights strength, autonomy, and the assertion of one's power in the face of disrespect.
